BIOGRAPHY

Growing up in small village in Dorset, Danny discovered a love of theatre at a young age. Involving himself in as much dramatics activity as possible, he quickly developed a keen sense of stage awareness and presence. Leaving school he enrolled at Weymouth College to study performing arts gaining his first experience in contemporary dance and music, as well as continuing his study of drama.



Wanting to push his physicality to new heights (quite literally!) Danny then enrolled at Bristol's Circomedia, Academy of Circus Arts and Physical Theatre. Here Danny discovered a natural flair for aerial work and gained a solid foundation in acrobatics. Leaving Circomedia Danny quickly became a professional, landing a job with an actual circus (Circus of the Streets) a mere month after graduation. The following year Danny completed Circomedia's Act creation course, devising and performing his solo trapeze act "Captain Stupendous". It was also in this year that the aerial theatre company Above and Beyond was formed and began working on their first production, Fire and Ice.

Whilst taking on professional roles in a variety of forms Danny continues to train regularly, constantly growing and developing.
